One of my goals on Etsy was to reach 500 sales. Well, I've just had my 400th sale tonight and I'm very excited and hopefully, rejuvenated with lots of new projects in the works!
So as a thank you to all who have followed my work and growth, I'd like to take the opportunity to host a give away! I'm going to offer a $50 Gift Certificate AND a custom journal to two lucky people. One will receive the gift certificate and one will receive the custom journal with their name added to the design!
I decided, (those that have already done the extra work of sharing will get their multiple entries), that in honor of being thankful, just leave a comment about what you are thankful for. You can enter every day, but only one time per day. Each entry will be awarded a chance to win, so that's lots and lots of opportunities to share what you are thankful for! I saw those pieces on our friend Deborah's facebook page and I liked them all! I particularly liked the picture of the bird - with the detail of the use of 'burnt old music paper' on the brightly coloured background. Very different and very nice. Debbie has been doing some great advertising for you :-). You are great for overcoming sadness and disappointment in your life enough to explore the wonders of this gift of creativity that you were clearly given. I am so thankful this past weekend for my families.... two sides of wonderful caring people. My hubby's family are full of the most humble people! I am thankful I am not in the fire areas this morning. I am thankful that my friends are safe, even if they have losses.
I am thankful that I was able to stand up in the morning and not cringe with my back! Yep, it's a good day in the hood ;)
I am thankful that the water utility company is jack hammering up my neighbors yard and driveway right now and not mine. Sorry Melissa :) LOL

Today, besides Rosie, I am most thankful of an art angel that I just met. Her generosity will enable to me to make my dreams come to true. I am unbelievably blessed today!

Today I am thankful that i was able to get rid of this ugly headache. Rough morning. Woke up again and the sun was out, the sky was blue. Very beautiful fall day. Then the rains came, so I sat in my craft room and created some christmas cards. I am so thankful for my life!

Surreal day! 9/11/11... 10 years ago today.... I sat and thought about all the wars in our lands and can't believe the number of people who have died so we may be free! I am very thankful for all the armed services and their quest for freedom in our country. I feel so very blessed today!

Monday was a beautiful day outside. Anytime we can have one more warm day, filled with sunshine is a blessing! Thursday's low of 39 seems impossible....so I am thankful for Mondays weather and the beautiful sun that shined all day long!

Lots to be thankful. If we say it out loud each and every day it keeps life in perspective.
I'm thankful for my husband, who without him, I wouldn't be able to doing any of this. Not once has he ever said to get off my lazy butt and get a job. He's allowed me to follow my dreams. I know I don't tell him enough, but I am very thankful for his love.
Today; I am thankful for my .4 pounds weight loss! Losing weight as you get older is so hard. I used to be able to drop 5 pounds in two days... now...its been 9.6 pounds in 10 weeks.. but its the right direction. Its a happy day and I know what I have to do...be much much more diligent!!!

I'm thankful for the internet. Something I can't imagine I would ever say after dealing with the Wacko from Waco a few years ago. That crazy lady about did me in. But I held my head high and got through it. I wish her happy mental health and that she find a peace of mind to not be so unnecessarily cruel just because she can get away with.
I am thankful for payday! I am able to pay my bills without fear of bill collectors or late fees. I may not be rich in dollars but am rich with life.

I am thankful for having ha a good day today.
I am so very thankful today about my little dog CoCo Puff who is just over 13 years old. She became very ill these past two days and we took her to the Vet today. She had been vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. Blood tests came out great and it turns out that something she go into outside caused her digestion track to become inflamed and caused her to be very sick. She is doing well and getting meds and I am thankful it was not bad news....
I am thankful to God, each and every day. Just think of the creating he did, the plants, the ocean, the trees, the flowers, our animals, birds, sunsets, sunrises, the list goes on and on but don't let me forget all of the wonderful people he has created and brought into our lives!
I love that you saw your cirmcumstance as a new opportunity for something new! I am also starting over-love your artwork!
